romania major road missing

i've got eastern europe map as i drive in romania. i hire a car in bucharest and drive to sigisoara 5 hours. i take my tomtom but the problem is the major road the E60 is not on the map nor is the town of brasov which is a major town. this is the road that i have to travel on for 5 hours and according to tomtom it doesn't exist.any body else got the same probs.

Suspect you are not going to get many responses from people in this forum if you wish feedback about a Romanian map.

Ususal tip for anybody using ANY map, especially when travelling in an unknown area is to go to some online sight such as google maps to get a backup printed route.

Teleatlas used community input to add a significant number of Romanian roads in map 2009.06. See this press release.

This map will be released to Tomtom devices in August 2009.

Once August comes around, post back and see if someone with the eastern Europe map can check out the roads and towns you need. If they are present in the new map, you could consider buying an upgrade.

August Came and gone....

So Aug Came and gone and no Romania Map... I guess it will be about a dozen yrs...
