Hi there,

I have a Go 910 that I recently bought and it is running the latest software and recently updated maps.

I want to roll it back to sotware 6.525 so I can use the handsfree through line out hack for when i use it on my motorcycle. I got the software from here Oldboy and followed the instructions. The Tom tom will boot but no maps are found.

How do I make it find the maps that are installed??

Your help will be greatly appreciated.

Cheers

If you've tried a pin reset and still get 'no maps found' after the downgraded firmware is installed, then I'm afraid the situation is that the lower application will not recognize the maps you have installed.

Firstly you can try the clear flash tool set on the device but I think this is more likely to be boot loader related to be honest, have a look at your device using Windows Explorer, locate the file "ttgo.bif" in the root of the drive, right click this file and choose "Open With/ Note Pad" one of the lines of text will be BootLoader.

With app 6,110 build 7020 the boot loader was 429
With app 6,522 build 7707 the boot loader was 486

For the line out audio hack I thought you needed to be pre Navcore 6,5x as 6,5x introduced support for the new (as then) RDS-TMC receiver, the never released bluetooth car kit and the FM Tx mount accessory, with these new bells and TomTom also disabled the "appenablelineout" hack that quite a few of us were using back then. If you need 6,110 send me a PM with your e-mail address and I will send it over as its only 6,7MB in size - Mike
