Rider II is dead ?

Hi,
Having just updated my subscriptions and a journey into europe getting ever closer, I need my device and the maps on it !
I have gone to activate the device and nothing happens....
It is dead! Nothing when plugged into the mains or the computer either....Is there something Im missing here ?
I dont use it all that often but Ive never seen it refuse to light up despite low battery power indication....!
I have tried to reset the unit with the small "reset" button within...
The thing has simply given upi the ghost !

Anyone got any suggestions other than "buy another"...../

When you plug it into the mains, does the power light come on? If so, leave it connected for a few hours.

If not, the battery may be so dead, that the unit may not work at all.

Thanks for that...It seems it needed a while on the mains before it was happy to boot up...Mystery solved !
