Hi
I have the Rider Pro with charging mount. I know the TomTom sat nav is waterproof but when the charging mount is empty there are electrical connection pins unshielded on the mount. I am a bit paranoid about getting these wet and blowing a fuse / shorting the battery. I have seen a guy riding around with a plastic bag covering the mount and I thought 'hey, that's a good idea' but then realised it is a rubbish idea and if I can use the satnav in the rain, surely I can leave the charging mount on in the rain. Does anyone know the answer, I have joined the forum to specifically find this out. I cannot seem to find the answer anywhere (including TomTom official literature / website).
