Hi!

Horror of horrors, the USB rubber cover on the rear of the Rider 550 decided it wanted to remain 'on the road' rather than seal the USB slot back up.

I've spoken with TomTom, but they don't make or carry any spares any longer. Has anyone got a lead on where I could acquire one, or something similar to return that area to waterproof?

Thanks!

I had a similar experience except my cover stayed attached by a slither so I was able to superglue a piece of rubber sheet over the top. In your case I think you are F&^cked Unless you want to glue a piece of rubber sheet over it and use the bike only to charge it and use an SD card to transfer routes.

Buy this, stick it in, leave it in forever, seal it if you like ... and charge with a usb-c charger from now on.
It protects the Rider's connector. If it corrodes, replace it. They often come in a pack of 3 or 4.

Thanks both, great ideas. I've been led to some MicroUSB silicon dust covers, which look like they'll do the job. I've ordered them, will report back on success for anyone else facing similar issues.
