Rider 4xx/5xx battery replacement

Hi, I need to replace the Battery on a Rider. I found some information about the used battery, something like VF3W type.
Can someone recommend or give a link to order this battery?
I am able to replace myself.

Hi

There has been a lot of feedback that the Rider 550 battery is nowhere to be found on the web.
the only solution is to ask Tomtom to change the battery for you.

Hi, I am not sure if the 4xx series has the same battery as the 5xx series. I opened my Rider 550 and checked for the type. (see yourself).
If you google for VF3W battery or battery NCA903864A you will find a lot of replacements and below 20€.

Are you sure your battery is dead?
Have you tried charging your rider via a smartphone mains charger.

That one is a lot lower capacity than the original battery, even though it's a 5 wire version, and since the connector is somewhat different, you'd have to do a bit of amateur cut and splice work.

I know this is an old thread but regarding battery replacement, Tomtom will only replace under warranty. The after sales care is non- existent

even if your rider 400 is no longer under warranty Tomtom can still repair it for you

this is no use as the battery capacity a 1/3 of the tomtom one anf if you have any charging issues on the bike its useless
