RIDER 2nd Edition in Central Texas

Hi! I'm a soldier stationed at Fort Hood, Texas. My wife bought me a RIDER 2nd Edition for Christmas because I lead a lot of group rides and I'm terrible with directions. I'm usually pretty good with technical gadgets, but the RIDER and most especially TomTom HOME have proven to be a quite a challenge for me. I plan to visit this forum often in hopes that I'll finally learn how to get this thing working well for me.

Welcome to the forum and congrats on the new Rider, be sure and read as much as you can, lots of great info on here and a few do have the Rider so I'm sure some will be giving you some helpful info.............

Tip #1. Back up the device via Windows Explorer.

Tip #1a. Get a larger SD Card (2 or 4 GB) and move everything onto it (keep the original in a safe place)

Tip #2. Figure out how to get the tether securely attached to the Device.
