I went on a 21 day cross country trip. My Rider 2 quit the second day out. Just would not turn on. No amount of coaxing would get it to turn on. i tried the AC adaptor, the accesory plug adaptor, shake and pound etc. Nothing. Then the day before I got home it suddenly returned to life. It had been working fine for the last several weeks since my trip but then yesterday it just quit again. i tried the AC adaptor and vigerous shaking. Again nothing.
Thinking perhaps the battery had gone completely dead I took the back off. There is a 'how to' on another thread. The battery tested a solid 4.3 volts. So I unplugged it (the battery) and plugged it back in several times. Wala. Life returned to my rider. For now I am thinking a bad connection. Time will tell if this fix will last.
