Rider 2 dead

Good day all,

After work this afternoon my Rider 2 died. Nothing. Just blank. It's been working fine, it's hard wired into the electrical system. I plugged it in to the home charger, and still nothing. Any thoughts?

My first thought is the battery. There is a thread about battery replacement somewhere in the TomTom Rider section.
