Reversible Lane

Hi,

I just recently purchased a TT One-S. I live in the Washington, DC area and a stretch of road in DC, Canal Road, has reversible lanes. They are inbound in the morning, both ways during the day, and outbound in the afternoon. Does anyone know if the TT maps compute this type of information in the directions it provides? I ask because I use the RDS-Traffic antennae and am curious if it is factoring in these restrictions in the directions it gives me.

Any insight you can provide would be helpful.

That is an interesting question <----meaning, I don't know the answer

I don't know whether your model can deal with IQ or IQ2 routing in version 8 maps.

If it does:

I wonder whether IQ routing (maps 8.0, 8.05, 8.10) or IQ2 routing especially (8.15, 8.25) would consider that.

IQ2 routing is supposed to consider time of day, not just day of week.............

You could try support at 866-486-6866 and see whether they can provide a definitive answer other than "huh?"

I suspect it doesn't, but it's very easy for you to check, isn't it? Just set a route in the morning that uses that highway, then again in the afternoon.

That's the thing. I have and it send me a different way sometime, and sometimes it doesn't, no matter the time. This is without the RDS antenna attached. Very wierd....

Also, I don't think my TT handles IQ routing. Its just a a TT One third edition that was a special version that included TTS. Of course, I could be wrong about the IQ routing. I have the latest maps and signed up for the update service.

You can tell if your model deals with IQ routing if you go to Preferences-->Planning preferences.

In the window that opens, do you see a button in the bottom right hand side of the screen that says 'IQ routing'?

If not, you don't have it ...............
