Hi, I have acquired a Go 950 Live that should have UK, USA and Canada maps on it. The problem is that the UK map has been deleted and I can't restore it via TomTom Home as the UK map isn't listed. How can I access the UK map that I need to restore on the device? The USA map that is on it is version v950.6492 if that helps.

As Willy noted, you'd better have a backup.
Check this folder to see if it contains anything:
C:\Users\{yourusername}\Documents\TomTomUpgrade\HOME\Backup
Or perhaps you took our advice in the past and did a manual backup of your 950?

That's one of the actual improvements in the newer generations of devices. Your maps are held 'on account' on TomTom's server, so you can add/delete maps as needed.

Thanks, it's looking like I need to buy the map then. The previous owner deleted the map so I'm stuffed from reloading it from a backup.

On the condition that the map is still available for purchase on Tomtom servers

I have a 930 bought on 2008 it came with the North American map and the UK/Europe one was free to download.
Only the map covering the area where it was purchased was free to update,

It wasn't all that long ago that I downloaded a fresh update for my GO 740. It's possible that the 950 still has maps available. Speaking of '950', a v950 map dates back to 2015.

Also understand that the fact that 740/750 and 940/950 devices are still getting any maps at ALL is a bit of a concession by TomTom at the moment. Even with an added 4GB uSD card, these units are woefully 'undermemoried' to handle the maps that are being built these days. Anything for these devices is a very niche map build. There aren't all that many still in service. No telling how much longer there will be support for even this small handful of the old Nav2 devices. The GO 950 was released back in 2009. After 15 years...
