I have received the TT GO 720. How do I confirm that it is indeed Brand New, and not Refurbished?

Thanks,

I bought a refurbished unit for my son. His specifically indicated that it was refurbished in the literature than came with it. Hope that helps.

I have purchased a new 720 and a refurbished 920. The difference:

New came sealed, with all accesories especially the CD and a proper retail box with full warranty

The Refurbished (from Amazon) came in a Tom Tom box, but not the retail version, did not have the CD, had a 6 month warranty, and when I checked recent destination and phone log, I found someone elses data.

Hope this gives you some idea re what to look for

Finally I found out

Thanks a lot for all your comments. I did some research and found out how to identify it.

For New 720: Mfg Part#: 1M00.780
For Refurbished 720: Mfg Part#: 1M00.783,

Part # should be written beneath the UPC.

Thanks,

Not sure that is accurate information. For example, my (originally new) 720 has a number 4M00.002 and the number is to the right, not below, the upc.

I bought a refurb yesterday from bestbuy and added the warranty. still came out to be over 200 bucks cheaper than the 730
