Reduced Functionality after 2009 Microsoft suit?

I understand that After settling a lawsuit with Microsoft in March 2009, TT was supposed to reduce functionality.

What functionality was changed / reduced?

Was my XXL 540 tm affected by this?

There are some who say all the Navcore 10X models (1X, 2X, Via, Start 20 and Go 800 series) don't allow users to the file system because of a deal TT made with MS not to sue TT.

Whether that was the reason, or to try to get people to stop stealing maps by hacking software or some other reason, who knows..........

Bottom line is no, your model is NOT affected. Count your blessings!
