Has anyone renewed their subscription? Can figure how to from TomTom Home as it appears to be only for the phone data plan type. Also why do we have to pay for same ClearChannel info that is free over a radio? It took a month after I originally bought and registered my 920-T for them to actually activate the free 1 year traffic subscription and they said they would extend it for a month. I checked on this when I call and got my last map update (a very easy process this time as they had the receipt and map guar I had had faxec earlier on record) and it showed my subscription ending next month but it notified on the TomTom (I guess thru the antenna) that it has expired.

Have you alreeady gotten a year out of the subscription - it is hard to tell from your post what the events and dates are?

I had a traffic subscription on another device, and when I got a 920, I had to work with support to get it transferred over. During this time, TT split the Plus Service from the receiver service (both worked on my earlier device), so you had to pick which one (both were offered in Home) you wanted to pay $59.95 for.

They transferred the service to my Plus data account. Therefore, my receiver was orphaned. It got a 30 day "trial" when I first plugged the receiver in.

If the receiver service is not showing up on Home, It may be because they have been having problems with their system. Some forum members who renewed received a new receiver because TT's system could not re-set the new expiration date on the receiver.

As for paying for clear channel data - not sure if it is free over here like it is in Europe, but TT double-dipping by charging separately for each service is even more annoying.

You would be best served by first deciding which way you want to go, than call service to get it set up.
