Quick car charger 40W

Can I connect my TOMTOM GO NAVIGATOR to such a charger in my car ?

To operate, your GO needs 5V 2.4 Amps, which corresponds to 10W.
40W is way too much, plus you don't tell us the output power in volts.

Most I've ever seen any TomTom draw is about 1.5A of 5V while operating a 7" with full screen brightness, communicating, and charging concurrently.
