TomTom Model(s)
Wife has a TT1. Me a TTR2
Should your rider 2 go to bike power when you put it on the mount? For some reason mine still seems to be on battery and I know there's power to the plug. Thanks In advance

Yes it should be hot when you clip it in. Check to see if you have 12vdc at the mount then work it back from there ie did you fuse it or run it right off the battery..Let me know if you need more help.

As others have said, the TTR2 should work off of the bike's battery when installed in the cradle (assuming your bike is on;) ). Unlike the TTR1, the TTR2 has a good connection and I have had no issues with power from the battery.

You can always select the "satellite bar" section of the screen to see whether the TTR is charging or not.

I have 12v to the mount just not threw it . I call TomTom and there sending me a new mount. When clipped onto the bike the internal battery would go dead after a while. TTR2

I got my new docking base from TomTom and I'm happy to say that all is well,it seems to be charging the unit just fine.:) TTR2
