Question about the maps and 30 day map update.

Hi I just got my TomTom on friday. Anyhow when I try to put my promotional code into the website it says code is not vaild or ran out of time. Now I updated my tomtom to the 710 map version. However when I go to look at the maps I can buy there are like 10! I don't understand why tomtom home is telling me that my maps are up to date when I can still buy maps that I don't have. Anyone know how I get the maps to buy for free? Thanks

When you use TT Home to update you don't need the promotional code, and 710 is the most up to date map, so your TT is up to date with the most current version.

The map installed on your TT when you buy it is the only map you can update, it has nothing to do with the maps you can buy and you can't get them free, but if you buy a map that is shown, you will get updates to that map.
