I was thinking of getting one of these bendable mounts and gluing a shielded rare earth magnet with some non- scratch material on it for mounting my TT One on my motorcyle tank, similar to the way magnetic tank bags mount. Will a magnet at that distance from the GPS do any harm to the unit or the internal memory, or to the GPS's ability to function normally?
