New to the TT and the GPS world. Just purches the XL 330s and am having problems. I am notsure if this is the right place to be but Its worth a shot.

After purchasing the unit, I ran the update for the US and Canada map. The next day it said cannot use the map and something about it cannot run on this device. Any help or direction would be helpful!

Thank you!

My unit now says that no maps are found on it. I tried reloading the map of Canada and US and it wont let me load it because says I do not have enough space on the disk. But when I look to remove stuff I cannot find anything to remove that would free up enough space. Any suggestions?

Do you have a full backup of the device taken from prior to update, if so install that to the unit to get it up and running, then we can look at whats wrong with the new map - Mike

It's a known (and bloody irritating) issue with the map size.

Try removing non English computer voices and then try the install of the map again.

The XL 330s has 1 gig of storage and the XL 340s has 2 gig of storage. Currently the newest map release has been an issue with both units. I purchased my XL 340s on Tuesday, June 16th, and I couldn't grab my "free map download". TT tech support said they have stopped the release because of it causing issues like your describing. They told me to hold off on attempting to download the free upgrade and they gave me a reference number so I could grab it beyond my 30 days.

I would call tt tech support and see what they can do for you. You may just need to send the unit back from your place of purchase and get another or send in for repair.

Good Luck

Make sure that you have the latest application installed too. If you have an old version of the navigation software installed, it will not "see" the latest map version.
