Problem with 'Auto-on'

I have a 920T. The problem I have is that when I get to where I'm going, I power down and remove my TomTom. After about 10 seconds, disconnected, it will restart. If I hadn't noticed it, it would completely discharge in my glovebox.

Any suggestions to fix this, short of changing my settings to auto power off when disconnected?
