Problem speaking freeway numbers

Hi, I purchased a TomTom XL335S and started using it right away. For some reason when it speaks freeway names that are three digits long with a zero as the middle digit it pronounces the word west instead of zero. For example, it want me to get on the 405 north, it says "Take the four west five north". It has done this on the 105, the 605 and the 405. I e-mailed tech support and they told me it was an error in the map database? This sounds a bit funny to me. My Magellon doesn't have this problem and I'm pretty sure the database has been around for awhile. Any thoughts on what might be causing this? I've gotten used to it by now, but I expected a bit more from TomTom and from their tech support.

There was another member (cputrdoc) on this forum that had exactly the same problem. I contacted him to see how he fixed the problem. He indicated that he reinstalled the map on his unit and that fixed the problem. Since I had the same problem I tried his suggestion. Did not work for me. I still have the same problem. I also contacted T/S and they were unhelpful.

The audio output jack stopped working on that unit so it is on its way to RMA heaven. I hope the replacement unit I receive in a few weeks will not have that problem. We shall see.
