Pro 8375

Hi everyone, I'm looking for some advice.

Just picked up a Tomtom pro8375 (webfleet device) I was told it was a truck device however upon inspection I see it only has settings for van, car or taxi.

My question is really as follows.

Does anyone know of a way of getting truck maps and settings onto the device.

Ah, but there is a very big caveat here. You will find on that page this sentence;

"Important: You can only update a device with the same map variant as pre-installed on the device. Otherwise the device will ignore the update."

I've been through this exercise myself. Only for devices that haven't been connected to Webfleet (the original TomTom Bridge devices) is it sometimes possible to swap map types at the developer's portal (a totally different site).

I believe only Webfleet can change the map 'variant' for an 8375 to one that includes the truck data for a Webfleet device, and the OP would need to make that contact.
