Hi All,

I can't figure this out. It is probably simple to solve but I don't see it. Any help would be much appreciated.
Apologies in advance for the extensive text below. However, my experience on forums is that I better be complete in my explanations.

I used the TomTom planner for my upcoming trip from the Netherlands to France. On the way there we have planned an overnight stay and my electric car needs to be charged 3 times. The next day we travel to our final destination.
For this I created and saved two routes. For the way back I have planned something similar. 4 routes in total.

These four routes sync fine with my TomTom Go app on my Android mobile. So far, so good.

The situation at hand:
My wife has the same mobile device, the same TomTom app, the same subscription and I added the 4 routes in her account to the online planner.
In the planner, the routes are excellently planned and can be seen back and modified if desired. So in the planner everything seems to be going well.

However, as soon as I want to sync these routes to the TomTom app little to nothing happens. Currently only 1 of the 4 routes is in its app. In addition, the app indicates that the 'Route is not possible' the moment I select it.

What I have done tot resolve this:
  1. Deleted and resynchronized routes several times
  2. Checked the routes in the online Route Planner and they work just fine.
  3. Downloaded and fully updated the full map of Europe in the app.
  4. Synchronization in the app turned on and off several times
  5. Logged out of the app and logged in again
  6. Restarted the TomTom app several times
  7. Restarted the mobile device several times.
  8. Checked that the TomTom accounts in the planner and the app are identical. Both have the same email address and password.
What stands out is that the subscription is not visible in her online TomTom account. Then again, it is not in my own account either. However, they are visible in both my wife's app and mine.

Specifications in both TomTom Go apps:
App version: 3.6.262 (5102)
Navigation Software Development Kit: 15.155.3
Navigation Application: 23.4.102
Map version: 41770
NDS Specification Version: 2.4.6

Can someone please assist or help to get this resolved? Many Thanx in@vance!

Your wife is logging into your Google account with the same credentials as you.

Noop. She's on her own credentials. Both in the online planner as in her TT account and app.
Thanx for your reply Willy875!

Just did a complete reinstall of the TomTom GO app.
Downloaded the complete map of Europe and synchronized the routes again.
Result: nothing changed and all is as above.
Anyone?

So if she has a separate account you must convert your 4 routes into GPX then send them to her so that your wife can add them to her Mydrive account.

Thanx Willy875.
That is what I did. This afternoon I will try this once more.
I will delete the 4 routes from her account, download the GPX from my account and add them again to her account. Then I'll sync them once more.

Good news for now. Just letting you know what happened.

So I deleted the routes from my wife's TomTom Planner. I then downloaded the 4 GPX files from my account as below:

I then imported these 4 files into the TomTom Planner on my wife's account. So now I expected to find 4 files but it turned out there were 8. See below:

So it turns out there are a version 'Exact' and 'Quick' (quick) included. I then synced all 8 files with my wife's TomTom app. All the files were synced nicely!

I have no idea why it did sync now. I did nothing different than at any other time. So I just assume this was a temporary bug in the earlier GPX files.

When choosing an 'Exact' or 'Quick' file in the TomTom app, I notice that one of them does not give a route in the app (No route possible). Which of the two it is, I can't say because it doesn't become clear in the app.
The one that does not work I then deleted and the four that do give a route I obviously left.

I have no idea why 2 versions were made of each route. I therefore did not ask and cannot read anything about it in the FAQ. I also have no idea why one version works and the other does not.

So for the time being, I have been helped. Maybe someone can answer my questions so that it will be

Thanx!
