Phone compatiblity

I have a tom tom 720. I am thinking of purchasing a motorola razr V3 3G phone. could someone tell me their experiences with the compatibility of these two devices. I want to get the most out of my 720. I am on AT&T service. any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated.
