Go 550 Live
Hi Guys,

I've not long got a Go 550 Live.

I sent my phone book to it from my Nokia 6230i and now I have changed a load of contacts / numbers on the phone:eek:

What I want tio do is remove all the contacts from the TomTom and re-Bluetooth the new phone book - if that makes any sense?

Does anybody know if this is possible at all?

Thanks in advance.

Ian

Well, contacts are kept in a contact.txt file in the contacts folder so you should just be able to delete the file. But backup first using Explorer, just to play safe......

Thanks for your quick reply dhn!

Excuse me for being dense:D but how do you access the contacts. txt file on the 'Go'?

When you say back up on Explorer, do you mean when I connect my 'Go' to the PC, I initiate 'Back up & Restore?'

Sorry for all the questions, but I don't want to trash anything else!

Many thanks for your help,

Ian.

Use Explorer for both the backup (never use Home) and to look at the contents of the folder and try removing the file AFTER the backup.
