I had trouble pairing my headset with the new versions, (now 7.9) and could not seem to find the right info for doing this. After talking to tomtom support I did a hard reset on my rider V1 and was able to pair my headset finnaly. Here is how to do it if someone is still having trouble.
Pairing headset
If you are having trouble pairing your headset with the new versions on tomtom rider try going to preferences and on the last page tap rest factory settings and follow the instructions. This will allow the rider to search for a new head set. First thing you should do tho is save your favorites by opening up your rider on your computer and go to North America Maps folder (or your map folder) and find a file mapsetting.cfg and make a backup copy. This is your favorite settings and a factory reset will erase it. After you reset the rider copy this file back to your rider. Hope this helps.
