Own 2 units have ?

I own a 720 and just ordered a new 730 . Will have both and was wondering if I will need to purchase map updates for both or would the year update I have for my 720 work with the new 730?

Sorry, but the maps are locked to a specific unit. They can't be shared.

When you do get the 730, make sure you register it with a NEW user_id (email address) and password than the 720 is registered with. The email address doesn't even have to be a real one.

(as an aside, I presume the 730 is NOT simply a replacement for the 720 but will be a second unit for someone to use. The reason I say that is that a 720 with Nav8 firmware and the latest maps is effectively a 730).

Thanks for info I was afraid I wouldn't be able to use on both. I wasn't aware of the issue with the same e-mail either. And yes this is for another vehicle.
