Operate my Go

Wow! I just got my third Home update (2.7.2.1825) and still can't Operate my Go! In addition, if I try OMG, then try Manage my Go, Home is frozen.
Problem started when I upgraded the application from 8.312 to 8.370. If I go back to 8.312 then OMG works.
Been about a month since I first installed 8.370 and lost OMG.
I read conflicting accounts of people who have upgraded and still are able to run the simulator.
Any comments or suggestions (other than running 8.312)?

I've been having the exact same problem. Been going back and forth with TomTom support -- they had me uninstall HOME then re-install; then do it again; then rolled me back to HOME version 2.5. No dice. I asked if they could send me HOME version 2.6 since it did work with that. The last message I received from them was:


"We do need to inform you that the newest application that is being offered through HOME has temporarily disabled the Emulator. Sometimes it will function with 2.5, but it is not guaranteed to work. Unfortunately, we do not have 2.6 available. Our programmers are working diligently to get this issue resolved. When it is, you will see it in a future HOME and application release. We do apologize for this inconvenience."

Looks like we'll just have to wait it out.

my friend download on her 920 the 1825 and then the full north american maps. everything worked the first time except the favorites which I fixed. The Emulator worked perfectly.

The Operate my GO issue is only affecting app 8.370. That app is only available on the 540/740/940.

I called TomTom during the week to ask whether I have a problem or Operate My Go was truly disabled. I'm not sure the rep did the actual research because the solution was sending my email a link summarizing the feature.

Coincidentally, I'm playing with Google Maps and routes.tomtom and Home asks me to download an update. Next thing I know I'm operating my go and adding waypoints to my 740. So, it's working here and I'm very happy to see that. The only thing better would be sending waypoints via the cellular connection but I won't get greedy.

Are you on app 8.370 on your Tomtom? It's good new is Tomtom finally released the Operate my GO file for it.

OMG on 740 with App 8.370

Connected my 740 to the computer today and sure enough, a download fixed the Go simulator.
