operate my device demo?

I just started collecting wifi locations for a project. I have a One-120s, and a laptop. When I try to operate the One from the laptop to say plan a route, it says DEMO and no sats are showing.
What do I need to do to make this thing work for real, and not in demo mode?

When you use the emulator (Operate my Unit) using Home, the demo of a route is a simulation, meaning what it shows for satellites (or battery level, for that matter) is not real.

To actually demo the route on the unit, however, it should be showing the satellite signal. Are you sure you are waiting for the signal before doing the demo?
