There are various conversion tools on the net. You'd have to know the format of S&P pois and then google for conversion tools from that format to ov2. (TT format).
 
There are several ways of getting from A to B - pardon the pun.

I'm unclear as to whether the usual gold standard (GPSBabel) is using an up-to-date format for the *.psp files. It's spot on when writing *.ov2 for the TomTom, however. Here you go: GPSBabel: convert, upload, download data from GPS and Map programs

As a secondary approach, have a look at a program called POIConverter. It also reads *.psp files, and will write *.ov2 files. POIConverter Grab version 4.08 there.
