One XL Sun Shade

Just thought I'd mention that I had been looking for a Sun Shade for my 1xl and hadn't seen any that I liked, somewhere I saw that MountGuys had a new one out and went looking, definetly needed one for the motorcycle and sometimes in the car, so I ordered this one, not cheap, cheap $14.95 + but I like it http://www.mountguys.com/product_p/gps043-tomtom.htm it does work but didn't exactly fit with my motorcycle mount, so I removed the clip today and Super Glued the little sucker to the TT, now no clip to worry about either on the motorcycle or the car, haven't had time to see how it fits on the bike mount but I think it will work just fine.......... , just thought I'd pass it on.........John

Is this sun shade hard plastic or a rubber / silicone type material ?

It is a black hard plastic which fits right on the black border of my screen.

I have one ordered....I'm hoping it won't scratch or mark up the smooth-shinny black case on my 930.

I like it. Works good and I hang it over the mount when I take it off the One.

Arkon Anti Glare Sun Shade for 4.3" GPS Screens model number GPS043


Over-all it's really nice.

Quality is like all Arkon products, very good.

Black in color and matches the TomTom perfectly.

Stays in place very well.

Seems to be made of hard plastic and has a rubbery coating on it....so no worries of it scratching the screen or the case.

Really helps out in sunny locations....depending on your mounting location....but is not a cure-all....but it does help.

Price is cheap enough....so I recommend you give it a try.
