I am in UK and wish to buy a One XL. I particularly want the version with the original large compass display which I believe means that I need the older 7 series App. A local shop has a demo model with this app and large compass which it advertises as a One XL V2. It has boxed One Xls in stock which it says are the same as the demo ie V2.
Wonder if anyone knows if it is possible to tell from the codes on the box which app version is installed?
