Yes, it?s another MINI. Sorry?.. :D

In any case here is my custom mount. I like it where I can see it and still watch the road. A great solution for the Dragon, I can see what is coming up on those twisty roads. Rock solid and no vibration; super easy to put the GPS in place with no messing with power cords. Wrinkle finish blends nice with the dash.

Nice, I like it...

Now for what was going to be my first reply...

Dude, you don't need a GPS to drive the dragon!!!

Turn right out of crossroads of time..

Did you see the NAM story about the guy that flipped his Hot Orange Cabrio S? (I've got a cabrio in HO, but it's not an S)

what materials did you use to make it? I was thinking about making something similar for my 720

Good question? I have an serious wood shop and people often give me wood and stuff. About a year ago a friend gave me a large piece of very fine grained wood, I have no idea what it is, but it machines very well and once painted, you have no idea what it is.

I cut a quater inch angled slot for a high-density fiberboard back plate.

On the left (opposite the USB connection) is a 3M product similar to Velcro, but does not wear out with time.

Finish with wrinkle paint and it stands up to close inspection. :)

That's the advantage of the ONE and the newer models since the bottom is quite flat unlike the Go910 which looks quite nice but too rounded, plus the fact that it has the dongle at the back.
