One 30 Start up picture

Hey so i just bought my tomtom, let me just say its so sick! but when i was doing some software update things i kinda messed up and made it so that it starts up with an red X, So i had to do the thing where you delete stuff off it except for a few files and folders, i did everything right but now i dont have a start up pic! It just goes right to the map. There is a splash.bmp on the tomtom but its one that i downloaded, but it dosent even show up

What happens if you press the reset with a paperclip for a few seconds?

Turn your TT upside down, Push and hold a paperclip in the hole unde the word RESET.

i dont have a spot under my tomtom dosent have a paper clip hole you have to reset it with the power button, you hold it for 15 seconds, but it dosent work

ALL TomTom's have a reset hole; it's just that for some models, it isn't marked very well. At least that is my understanding.

To reset your TomTom device, do the following:

Check that the battery is charged properly.
Charge your device for at least 2 hours before trying to turn it on again. Make sure the charging light on your device is on.

Reset your device.
Press and hold the On/Off button until your device restarts. This can take more than fifteen seconds.

Then, I apologize.....it does indeed seem as if those are the instructions to reset on the 130 model. Do you have a preference option to restore to factory settings? If so, try that.
