My wife got a ONE 2nd Edition from work the other day. I've updated it to the latest US and Canada map and software. The problem is that I want to get the POI group Veterinary but that's not included in the US and Canada map. I'd have to get the North America map. I've verified this with a senior tech at the support number. The problem is that the North America map is 2 gb and would take up an entire 2 gb sd card and the tech said he didn't think the 2nd Edition could use a 4 gb card but, if it could, it would definitely operate slower. Can anyone verify that a 4 gb card does work in a 2nd Edition and that it's not noticeably slower?
The tech also mentioned that it might be possible to find someone with the North America map that could pull the Veterinary POI group from the poi.dat file and that I might be able to install them as a separate POI group in my One. Is there anyone willing to try?
