ok, so I finally gave in largely do to the reduced price for new maps for my 340 XL and purchased the latest maps for my GPS. After the purchase I pushed the "install it later" button. It said something about using the map updates button when I as ready to install the maps but I don't see the maps I purchased, at least I don't think I'm seeing them . I really don't know what to do now.

not clear, did you go to tomtom home to see if it is their?

It may help them to solve a similar situation faster.

Well apparently, Paypal hasn?t cleared the payment. Something about an international payment transfer. Doesn?t make since to me because I buy and sell across international boarders all the time and the paypal transfers are instantaneous.
Anyway, until TomTom gets paid they won?t release the updates to me.
