Gotta a Go300, son gave it to me, he found it in his wardrobe.
Its not gotta sd card, but I put a new one in

so I downloaded TOM TOM HOME.

I'm running winxp pro, and when i connect the USB the pc recognises it as TOM TOM and puts its as 'G' drive.

Now the tom tom HOME automatically starts as it should...and its now I get the following problems.

RED CROSS KEEPS FLASHING
DEVICE NOT CONNECTED

I have googled all the problems, and have followed all the suggestions
FORMAT SD CARD
RESET TOMTOM
UPDATE DRIVERS
ROLL BACK DRIVERSUNINSTALL HOME, AND RELINSTALL
DOWNLOADED WIN HOME IMAGES AND PASTE INTO ROOT DIRECTORY

can anyone help me please to get it working??

1) Format a blank SD card (preferably 2GB), then extract this file with winrar and put its contents onto the SD card (using an SD reader).
2) Stick the SD in the Tomtom, turn it on, wait until it says no maps found, then connect it to the computer.
3) Run tomtom HOME and upgrade everything it offers, then download voices, then pay for a map
