Being a coach driver, a decent sat nav is important to me. I used Garmin products before, but was talked into getting a Tomtom device.
So I purchased a Tomtom Go pro, which was great, but after a power surge it fried it, so i bought a Tomtom Go Expert plus, thought i'd treat myself. However, once all set up, i found out they had removed the Record Route option, and cannot connect a phone to receive calls etc. I contacted Tomtom and was told they removed the record route button because it was easier to plan the route beforehand. wtf?? why is that easier than pressing a record route button and it saves everywhere you go. This is important to me because some trips i do, i do maybe three times a year, so i record the complete route and save it, then apply it when i need it. However, i bought a cheap normal Tomtom go essential, with the plan to record routes on that using the record route button, which i did, but transferring it to the tomtom go expert is proving almost impossible, every option when i google how to do this is wrong, says open mydrive on computer, press something, but the option they state isn't there, and customer support are no help, they don't seem to understand why i can't find planning the route before i go easier than pressing one button to record the complete route i'm taking.
Plus, there is no memory card slot on the new Tomtom go expert plus, to transfer that way!! So in total, I've spent over £400 and still not got what i want, which i had on the Tomtom go pro 6250 aaaaaaagggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhh

Anyone worked out how to do this? any help will save me ripping my hair out in frustration lol
