I can get no sound out of my TomTom One (v3)
It's not muted, the volume is up to 100% and not linked to the car speed.
All I ever hear when a sound should be played is a soft 'click' from the speaker, as if it's muted.
I've reset it with the small button on the bottom, installed an old backup, restored it to the factory defaults and changed voices.
Also, when I switch it on, you should hear a startup sound. Again, I hear the same soft click.

I get that same click with my PDA when it's muted and I click on something that should make a sound(maybe some of you recognize it.)
I could of course simply give it to the shop that sold it, to have it repaired, but that'll cost me.
Any ideas?
Is there a service menu that I can access, firmware that I can update or anything else?
thanks in advance
