no properties in tom tom one v3

sorry turn tom tom on i just get screen with them words and bottom left blue sd card
power button not working to shut it off......... if i connect it to computer i can see writing please wait and nowt happens and if i right click on properties of device on my computer i get zero in properties
 
Does your model have a reset button in the bottom? Try that.

When you connect to the computer, use Explorer to look at the contents of the sd card. what do you see there.

If you have no backup, you may have to pay for new maps. First off, the One v3 doesn't have replaceable SD memory, so if the internal memory went bad you may have to toss it.

Go to windows and format the Tomtom drive, with quickformat disabled. Do it repeatedly until it says no bad sectors found.

If the format fails, then the flash is irrepairable. If the device is less than a year old, call for warranty replacement.

If the format succeeds, connect the device to Tomtom HOME, and do "Update my ONE" to reinstall everything. If it won't give you a map, then you'll have to pay for another one.
