After several month of no use I charged my Go 700 for several hours, but, still, I can not turn the device on. Anything I can try to do myself before asking for repair?

The internal battery must have gone defective. This usually happens when a battery driven device is not used for a long time. Try two things; 1. Pin reset you unit. 2. Leave the power adaptor and try to switch on your device. When I totall dismantled my 910, I tried switching it on without the battery. My 910 powered up everytime but always went through the procces like after a pin reset - TT logo and drum sound.
