no more map share on 720

using Home 2.1 NA map 705.1481 and app 7.221

i don't get any more map updates in Home just quickgpsfix. i shut down the firewall and antivirus but nothing for weeks now?

Home logs into the map share community fine and shows my address. all was good maybe 3 weeks ago where i received daily map share updates.

ideas?

When I connect my 720 and Home 2.1 fires up it checks for the latest updates and usually QuickGPSfix comes up, as does "Map Share - map updates" located on the bottom without an icon in which you can uncheck it if you want to. It always says "Estimated size: Tiny". And when I click Download updates it downloads both the quickgpsfix and the map share map updates. Maybe its a preference or option you need to select in Home or maybe the unit itself. Check all of your settings and make sure everything is set correctly for you to receive updates and that nothing reset.

I've noticed the same thing lately...havent seen mapshare update lately...I just figured that there werent any new updates

nj_tt_user thanks, yes I see this and have retrieved the updates in the past but it has been an unusually long time between updates I suspect something is not right.

hum think about it... maybe because lots of people who use NA 710 dont correct on the 705 anymore

mine is getting mapshare on the 710 and not the 705

hmm, well that would make sense. guess i need to find this map.

i was also selected to participate in their new map trial, anyone have info on this- it's version and if i should just work with this new trial map for the time being?
