No ferries please

Hi everyone. I have a go 510 that I bought from woot.com. So far I'm pretty happy with it but I do have a question I can't figure out. I live fairly close to the Cape May ferry so the gps is always trying to plan trips using the ferry. The ferry is a pain in the butt, it?s easier to go the long way. How can I tell this to always avoid ferries with out modifying each trip? If that?s not possible then how can I save a place in my favorites with the route I changed? I hope I explained this ok; I'm not that good putting my thoughts in text.

It will automatically give a ferry route if you request a short route and the ferry route is the shortes. You will just need to recalculate those trips!!

Try using the alternate route and select calculate alternate route.
