No auto on?

I just searched this out and was surprised to find there is no auto on! I know it has been covered before but what was TT thinking? They have auto off so the sensor for input voltage is already there...why not make a simple program change to allow this? You would think with all the other things they let you customize they would have this too. Not to mention, if my unit turned on and off with my car everytime I used it they could collect a lot more data for their IQ routes. Seems like it would be a win win. Oh well I guess I will have to excercise my index finger once a day.

They stopped that functionality in all but about 1% of models with a software change years ago.

Believe me, one of the most common requests from all quarters and all we can do is hope that it returns.
