No audio from iPod

I just got my iPod cables direct from TomTom (I know, I paid too much but I can expense it). I hooked it up and the TomTom reads the iPod just fine and says its playing music, but I don't hear anything (both internal speaker and FW was tried).

Anyone have any ideas?

Its a 920T and iPod 30GB video (last year's model)

Is the volume level on the unit set high enough?

Tomtom cranked up full blast as is the radio and there is nothing.
The iPod is at least at half volume. I should have some sound but there is nothing at all.

Have you gone in and checked the various speaker-out settings. When I hooked up my car stuff, I had to tweak a few different settings or else some stuff playeed and others did not. I don't know ipod though.

I tried to switch from FM to internal and back. no luck.
FWIW I will play anything I load on the SD card just fine.

Try pressing reset on the bottom of your tt.
