Newbie to site and tomtom's

Hi, newbie from the north east of england,having just bought a motto guzzi V9 bobber which has canbus wiring (apparently) I wanted a GPS fitted first preference was garmin but dealer only sold tomtom so was purswaded into buying a rider 410 wired into the ignition switch.not overly impressed but will persevere will be asking a few questions later
