Newbie Help

[Apressure]

Can some one do me a huge favour and do this, when you plug your tomtom in and it shows up on your desktop, can you zip all the files and email me the file. I need to know if i have any missing folders or pic's, Here is why

when i was doing some software update things i kinda messed up and made it so that it starts up with an red X, So i had to do the thing where you delete stuff off it except for a few files and folders, i did everything right but now i dont have a start up pic! It just goes right to the map. There is a splash.bmp on the tomtom but its one that i downloaded, but it dosent even show up

Help ME!!!!!

It also dosent let me download pics to the unit.

I'm sure you will find some help here, but you should include a bit more info. What version TomTom do you have? What version firmware are you running? What maps are installed? Someone may shoot you an email with the zipped files you requested, but you may end up in deeper trouble than when you started if the versions are not the same.

im running version 8.010

also i dont have any upgrades just the us and canada map it came with

i want to see if i can compare files and folders just to see if anything is missing
