Newbie help,have i killed my v1 rider

Right,im an idiot with computers so here goes
bought a v1 off ebay.
no application code.
off to be fixed for another problem
returned
they kept the sd card and the map
bought new sd card
bought a new map..how much????
downloaded it.
linked it with pc.
tried downloading map,but it wouldnt fit on a 2 gb sd card(western europe map and applications)
took out sd card and put it in the pc
like a tit erased everything off it
downloaded the map..yay it fits
but some other things dont like bluetooth headset connection

what have i done??i cant find an application in home to replace what ive deleted so the bluetooth works,it is supposed to do
im a newbie to pc's and gps so go steady with me

Use winrar to extract the contents of this file onto the SD. Then turn on the Tomtom until it says "no maps found". Then plug into HOME, and run Update my Rider. It should give you the latest app 7.901 that can read the map.
