Just wanted to say hi to the forum.

Lookingfor my 1st GPS. Just not sure on which model??? Looking for Map direction, Hospitals, Emerengcy & Dinning.

Any Ideas will help. Thanks

All models of TomToms have those point of interest categories. And all plan routes, of course. That's the main function of a gps.

Depending on your budget, I'd get one that speaks the street names. We just picked up the XXL540TM for about $200.00. You get traffic and free map updates with this one.

Depending on what part of Ohio, you'll get traffic. We were in Cleveland/Akron/Findlay last weekend and received traffic the entire time. It even (sort of) caught all of the construction zones before you got to them. The advanced Lane Guidance is nice too. Tells you what lane to be in for your highway intersections.
