New with TomTom (IP-List)

I ordered a 550 Rider online. I've intended to use it when I'm on holiday but my motorbike.
But now I see that the ip lists only show charging stations and nothing else here in Sweden.
If I look at the map in southern Europe, there is a lot of info.. what's wrong???

Unclear what you mean by "ip". Interest Points (e.g., Points of Interest - POI) perhaps?
Are you talking about what is displayed on the map, or is available in the lists of POI categories, or ?

If you are looking to display more poi on the rider map
tap (....Menu) -> Settings -> Appearance -> Show POI lists on map

Sir! Yes in my rider 550 there are lists under settings/appearance. show ip lists on the map.
There are 9 different lists on my device, only one shows points in Sweden, charging stations.
I would like to have info here in northern Europe, this is where I travel around. It feels a bit like I chose the wrong GPS system.

It really sounds as though there is some issue with your map. The map includes the POI set for each country that the map covers.

I will install the Northern Europe map on my device (GO 620, equivalent in most respects to your Rider 550) to see what is happening there. That map includes Sweden. The current map, by the way, will be 11.10.

Please advise what map is currently on your device (area and version number). If necessary, I'll swap maps to try to more precisely duplicate your situation.

Sir! yes i updated my device yesterday to 1110.11945.
Is the problem i bought my unit from motoin in germany?

No. Purchase location doesn't change which POI sets show up in a country map.

Having upload issues today, but let's talk again tomorrow after I get the map installed.

Still having map issues with my 620, a d can't use my Discover to duplicate because the newer models use a different map set / technology. I'm trying to add 'Scandanavia'.

Aha... appears to be trying to work now. Will report back.

Hmmm... I should ask ...which Europe map are you using? Might make a difference in what we see.

Edit: Nuts. Thought I could convince this 620 to load a Rider map, but my trick didn't work. Only the Rider and camper/truck maps include anything but charging stations. The regular car maps don't.

You could try switching to Scandanavia map to see if they appear in that map set.

When I try scandinavian-map or europa-map there ar no difference POI will be the same. All POIs end at the border to Denmark... Well motor station ar there and load stations.. I have road 77 where I live and there are a lot of speed cameras, but on the map there is nothing there.. As I see it, the gps is not useful. I bought it to use this summer when I will drive in Sweden. Google maps is far, far better. I regret buying the tomtom 550. I thought I would get something that could be used.

It seems to me that the poi sound indicated within a radius of a hundred kilometers around your position.
Have you tried searching for a poi after entering a city name.

Sir my location is 55km norr of stocholm.. the head of sweden. So why do i see everything south of Denmark? I think the poi list dont has info in skandinavia.

I think the best thing to do is to contact Tomtom support and ask them the question.
